The 19th of May was a noteworthy day in many respects. There was a certain royal wedding at Windsor Castle, and across London too, at Wembley, Chelsea won the FA Cup Final against Manchester United. But both of these events were eclipsed by another notable celebration… the wedding of Stephanie and Mitchel, which took place at the historic church of St Nicholas, North Walsham.
It was fitting that the bride’s arrival, along with Dad Colin, at this lovely church on a warm sunny day, was in an open top vintage motor. Stephanie's three bridesmaids and flower girl all wore white, and looked stunning as they followed the beautiful bride down the aisle to the waiting groom, Mitchel. After an emotional exchange of vows and rousing hymns accompanied by an all boys choir, the couple headed to The Beechwood Hotel for drinks and canapes, while the group photos were taken.
The Olive Tree Restaurant in North Walsham then provided the setting for the couple’s wedding breakfast and the cutting of their seven–tier cake. It wouldn’t be a wedding without an emotional speech or two and on this occasion the bride’s sister managed to bring forth the top-table tears … well done Mitchel for providing the tissues! The party continued long into the night with some epic dancing and photo-booth fancy dress fun!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Ballard-Bonsra! I trust your special May-day created many memories you will treasure forever and I wish you every happiness at husband and wife!
